Ties to the... Stage

We revealed our new style as we suited up to hit the stage at An Beal Bocht last Saturday. I've gotta say, the suits freakin' rock and we're looking forward to donning them at our gigs from now on.

In addition to the suits, last Saturday marked another milestone for TSGD—it was our first gig as a trio. All I can say is, you have to see it for yourself. The trio puts a whole different paint job on our music and has ignited a new energy in the band that is plain to see. We're three musicians with no place to hide except behind our instruments... and we're lovin' it. We've really stepped up our game, so expect to see a reinvented TSGD this summer.

As always, thank you to everyone who came to the BX and got down. You guys give us the energy to perform. We appreciate the dancing, singing and support. You are the best!

In other news, we'll be announcing the first night of our Tuesday residency at Declan Quinn's in a week or two. We'll also be announcing a release date for our album "Ties to the Grid" within the next few months. Until then, keep checking back here and our Facebook for more show dates. We've got a busy summer ahead and we hope you'll spend some time with us.

All Dressed Up

The Sun Gets Down will be playing their first gig as a trio this Saturday at "An Beal Bocht" in the Bronx (Click here for more details).

Not only will it be our first time performing with James on bass, but we'll also be debuting our new "style."

To find out what we mean, you'll have to be there!

And if you think you know what TSGD is all about—think again. Come and experience the trio and get a new perspective on our sound.
