An Evening Affair

LOCAL 269 gig is CANCELED... but there's good news!

Due to a double-booking issue at the Local 269 bar, TSGD will not be able to play Friday's set as scheduled. We apologize to everyone who made arrangements to come see us. We are just as disappointed as you are.

But there's good news! We were able to book a last minute NYC gig at a downtown bar called "Affair on 8th." Thank you Brenda!

We'll be playing from 9-11 pm. No Cover.

A Week in Review

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our show at the Brickhouse a banger!

As we expected, Mike Landry killed it on guitar—we're so glad he was able to make it down and jam with us for the weekend. Thanks Mike!

Black Jacket Fridays - TSGD Special Guest Performance

The Sun Gets Down is excited to have a very special guest join us on the Brickhouse Brewery stage this Friday.

Our good friend and producer of "Ties to the Grid", Mike Landry, will be playing a few tunes with us on guitar. Mike is an outstanding musician, so it's sure to be a night to remember.

Week of Three

It's going to be a busy week....

It all starts Tuesday when we kick off our summer residency at Declan Quinn's in Bay Shore. After that, we've got another big gig at the Brickhouse Brewery (Friday at 9:30pm) and we close the week with a house party performance in Islip on Saturday.

That's 3 TSGD shows in one week at some great Long Island venues. So gather your friends, family and lovers and make plans to get down with The Sun Gets Down.

Tuesday Night's Squad

The first night of our Tuesday residency at Declan Quinn's is June 8th.

Quinn's will be our unofficial home base for the summer—not just on Tuesday nights, but also because we'll be performing at the 2010 Declan Quinn's Music Festival AND Quinn's will be playing host to our CD release party for our first studio album, "Ties to the Grid".

Needless to say, we'll be spending a lot of time on 4th Avenue in Bay Shore this summer.

Look for pictures from EVERY Tuesday night on our Facebook page. The photo album will be entitled "Tuesday Night's Squad" and we'll post the pictures a day or two after each gig. Feel free to add some shots of your own, tag yourself and comment!
